This tutorial has been written by somebody who is not a Linux expert at all. If you see mistakes or lacking information, feel free to add or correct.
What you need
- An internet connection
- A computer (to download and flash Raspberry Pi OS)
- An SD card reader
- A SD card (8GB minimum)
- A micro-SD/SD adapter
- A complete Raspberry Pi set (with screen and keyboard, to install it in the best possible conditions. It is also possible tu use SSH and VNC combination to install and configure everything in a headless way)
Download and Install Raspberry Pi Imager
Flash Raspberry Pi OS to your SD card
- Choose your Raspberry version :
- Choose the operating system you want to install (Raspberry PI OS - 64 bits)
- Choose the SD card or USB device to use
- Click on the “Next” button and preconfigure some settings like username and password, wifi credentials, etc…
